आज कल हिंदी मीडियम में किसी विषय की किताब ढूंढना एक मुश्किल काम हो गया है | इन्टरनेट पर इंग्लिश में तो बहुत content मिल जाता है पर हिंदी में content उतनी आसानी से नहीं मिलता| नीचे कुछ ऐसे लिंक दिए गए हैं जहाँ से आपको अपना विषय हिंदी में ढूँढने में आसानी होगी

इसका कारण यह है की मेरी वेबसाइट पर इंग्लिश के साथ साथ हिंदी में भी लिखा हुआ है| तो मैंने सोचा कोई बात नहीं “Google” को थोडा समय दिया जाए जब तक वो हिंदी का Support add करेंगे | तब तक मैंने किसी और Ad नेटवर्क को join करने का सोचा| मुझे कई सारे Ad नेटवर्क पता चले पर उनमे मुश्किल ये आई के वो या तो बहुत Flashy थी या फिर अजीब अजीब से Ad दिखाते थे जो मुझे पसंद नहीं आई| आखिर में मुझे Dynamic Oxygrn का पता चला, जिनकी Ad अभी तक तो मुझे ठीक लग रही है|

Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak has setup an unique and one of its kind example by founding Sulabh International. An organization working in the field of sanitation and toilet designing.

Excerpt from his story as written in “I have a dream” by Rashmi Bansal.

“As Bindeshwar puts it, “Some people are absolutely certain – they think straight. “Mujhe toh yahi karna hai aur waise hi kiya usne” But most people, if you see, they set out to do something and ended up doing something quite different.”

“In Oriental Philosophy wealth is not revered, knowledge is. I mean not just in India but China, Japan, Bangladesh, Burma, Laos, Cambodia, African countries. In Western Philosophy, it is exactly the opposite.”

“The WHO handbook had a sentence which struck Bindeshwar in particular. It noted that ‘Out of the heterogeneous mass of latrine designs produced over the world, pit privy is the most practical and universally applicable type‘”.  Here pit privy is what we know as Indian style toilet.

“The government is providing more and more reservation. But where are the jobs? I believe that if we educate these children, make them capable, they will find jobs on their own.”

Sulabh has done another innovative creative work by opening Sulabh Toilet museum.

Muhammad Yunus founder of Grameen Bank

Professor Muhammad Yunus has setup an example for generations to come, about Social Entrepreneurship by setting up Grameen bank. Author of “Banker to the Poor” also wrote another book “Creating a World Without Poverty”. Some of the excerpt of “Creating a World Without Poverty” that I liked very much are:

“Global trade is like a hundred-lane highway criss-crossing the world. If it is a free-for-all highway, with no stoplights, speed limits, size restrictions, or even lane markers, its surface will be taken over by the giant trucks from the world’s most powerful economies. Small vehicles— a farmer’s pickup truck or Bangladesh’s bullock carts and human-powered rickshaws—will be forced off the highway.”

“To me poor people are like bonsai trees. When you plant the best seed of the tallest tree in a flower-pot, you get a replica of the tallest tree, only inches tall. There is nothing wrong with the seed you planted, only the soil-base that is too inadequate. Poor people are bonsai people. There is nothing wrong in their seeds. Simply, society never gave them the base to grow on. All it needs to get the poor people out of poverty for us to create an enabling environment for them. Once the poor can unleash their energy and creativity, poverty will disappear very quickly.”

Need to develop Problem Solving skill in Education

मैंने अभी यह article पढ़ा और मुझे बहुत ही पसंद आया| सबसे अच्छी बात जो इसमें बताई गयी की स्कूल में हम Maths और Science की Problem तो Solve करते है पर उस से हमें Problem Solving Skill नहीं आती| इसी वजह से हमें हमेशा Problems दिखाई देती है और हम उनसे परेशान रहते है| उधारण की लिए अगर मुझे कार चलानी आती है तो में Driving को enjoy करूंगा| वरना बस गलत drive करूंगा| खुद भी परेशान होंगा और रोड पर औरो को भी परेशान करूंगा|

चिन्तनीया हि विपदां आदावेव प्रतिक्रिया |
न कूपखननं युक्तं प्रदीप्ते वान्हिना गॄहे ||

It is improper to start digging the well after the house has caught fire! We should be pro-active i.e. we should have the solutions ready even before some problem comes to us.

I just read this article and I liked it very much. Best think about this article is that Although we solve Maths and Science problems in schools but we still don’t get “Problem Solving Skill”. Due to this, we always see problems everywhere and bothered by them.  For example, if we know car driving then we would enjoy the trip otherwise I would not drive properly. I would also be in problem and would also create problem for others.
